superciliously
“Superciliously” adverb form of the adjective word “supercilious” in English. The equal of this word in Turkish is “ukala bir şekilde”, “kibirli bir şekilde” or “takıntılı bir şekilde”.
If someone behaves superciliously, they behave in a way that shows they think they are superior to others. On other words, it can be used to describe someone who thinks very highly of themselves or their abilities, often to the point of looking down on others. This is not usually a compliment, as it suggests that the person has a sense of arrogance or haughtiness.
In Turkish, this attitude is typically perceived as negative, just as in English. So if someone acts this way, they might be described as “ukala” or “kibirli”. For instance, if a person talks in a condescending manner, disregarding others’ opinions because they believe they know best, we can say that they are behaving superciliously.
